A fresh take on the famous Nobu dish, this Southern Bluefin Tuna Tataki with Ponzu dressing will delight your dinner guests. With fresh salad, melt-in-your-mouth Dinko tuna, and tangy ponzu sauce, this recipe is the perfect balance of fresh and decadent.
Ingredients:
Ponzu dressing:
1 For the ponzu dressing, place ingredients in a large jar and stir to combine. Set aside.
2 Preheat a large non-stick frypan over high heat.
3 Drizzle tuna portions with 1 tbsp olive oil and season with salt and pepper
4 Place tuna portions on the hot pan, turning frequently, for 1-2 minutes until slightly browned but still rare.
5 Remove tuna portions from the pan and set aside for 10 minutes.
6 Arrange lettuce leaves and avocado on plates, then drizzle with lemon juice.
7 Thinly slice tuna portions and arrange on top of plates.
8 Sprinkle tuna portions with sesame seeds, then drizzle with ponzu sauce.
9 Serve immediately.
