We harvest Southern Ocean Sardines in the deep, pristine waters of the Spencer Gulf and the Indian Ocean from January to July each year.
Our Southern Ocean Sardines are an average length of 145-160mm.

The Spencer Gulf is our home and it is from here that we travel to the best nutrient-rich waters for catching our seafood products, including Australian Sardines.
Dinko Australian Sardines are MSC accredited and available as:
- Fresh, whole sardines during the harvest season
- Sardine IQF (individually quick frozen) available all year
- Frozen sardines for tuna feed
- Sardines for pet food – fish meal
- Sardines for fishing bait

To maintain the quality and freshness of our products, all Dinko Seafood products are stored in our vacuum-sealed cryovac bags, then packed and transported in styrofoam eskies at -60 degrees celsius.
While we sell Dinko Seafood products at wholesale prices, small orders can become expensive when these specialised transport costs are added. To enjoy better value for money, we recommend placing orders of 5kg or more.
