BBQ prawns with Sriracha, Lime and Coriander

Coated in a delicious marinade of garlic, ginger, honey, lime juice, and coriander, these spicy BBQ prawns are ready in just minutes. Perfect as an appetiser or paired with rice or salad for a main dish, they are the perfect addition to your summer menu.

Serves: 4 PRINT THIS
  • 1-2 tbsp Sriracha
  • 2 tsp honey
  • Juice of 1 lime
  • 1 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, minced
  • 1 garlic clove, minced
  • 2 tbsp fresh coriander, chopped
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 500g Dinko Spencer Gulf King Prawns, peeled and deveined

Method

1 Preheat BBQ for medium-high heat

2 In a small bowl, whisk together the Sriracha, honey, lime juice, oil, ginger, garlic, coriander, salt and pepper.

3 Place the prawns into the mixture and gently toss to ensure each prawn is coated with the mixture. Allow to marinate in the fridge for no more than 20 minutes

4 Thread the prawns on skewers, then place them on BBQ. Grill until pink, opaque and cooked through, about 2 minutes per side.

5 Sprinkle with cilantro before serving
