Simple Bluefin Tuna Pasta

Made with Lukina’s Special Bluefin Tuna, sweet cherry tomatoes, fresh chilli, and fragrant parsley, this dish balances bold flavours with comforting simplicity. Ingredients

  • 2 tins of Lukina’s Special Bluefin Tuna
  • 200g cherry tomatoes, halved
  • 2 fresh chillies, roughly chopped
  • 1 garlic clove, crushed
  • A handful of chopped parsley
  • 250g passata
  • 300g pasta of your choice
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Method

1 Heat the pan on medium heat. Once warmed, coat the pan with a generous amount of olive oil.

2 Add the garlic and chilli and sauté for 30 seconds.

3 Add the tomatoes, pressing down gently to remove the juice. Sauté for 5-10 minutes while gently stirring.

4 Add the tuna to the pan and stir through with a wooden spoon.

5 Add black pepper to the sauce to taste.

6 Pour the passata into the mixture and stir through. Simmer for around 10 mins.

7 While the mixture is simmering, cook the pasta as per the packet instructions.

8 Sprinkle fresh parsley into the mixture before adding a pinch of sea salt to taste.

9 Mix through with the heat off.

10 Serve and garnish with more fresh parsley.
