Ready in less than 30 minutes and bursting with flavour, this delicious Prawn Pad See Ew recipe will become a family favourite.
Ingredients
Stir Fry
1 Prepare noodles according to packet directions and drain.
2 In a jar, combine dark soy sauce, oyster sauce, light soy sauce, vinegar and sugar. Mix until the sugar dissolves.
3 Heat 1 tbsp of oil in a large wok over high heat.
4 Add garlic to the wok and cook for 15 seconds.
5 Add Chinese broccoli stems, and cook until soft.
6 Add prawns and cook for 2-3 minutes.
7 Add Chinese broccoli leaves and cook until just wilted.
8 Push ingredients to one side, crack the egg in the wok and scramble.
9 Remove everything in the wok onto a plate and scrape the wok clean.
10 Return the wok to the stovetop and heat 2 tbsp oil over high heat until it is VERY hot. Add the noodles and the sauce. Toss a few times to disperse the sauce - about 1 to 1 1/2 minutes.
11 Return the prawn and vegetables to the wok and briefly toss them to disperse the noodles and sauce.
12 Top with crushed peanuts and lime wedges and serve immediately.
