BLUEFIN TUNA SALAD POKE BOWL

You’ll enjoy the delicate textures and wholesome ingredients in this Bluefin Tuna poke bowl. Packed with salad greens and vegetables, it’s easy to whip up for a healthy weeknight dinner winner.

Serves: 2 PRINT THIS

Ingredients

  • 300g Dinko Tuna Bluefin Tuna akami, cut into 2cm cubes
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 1 teaspoon rice vinegar
  • 1½ teaspoons sesame oil
  • 2 cups brown rice (or white rice) cooked
  • 2 cups salad greens
  • Handful of spring onion, thinly sliced
  • 1/2 teaspoon sesame seeds
  • 3/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes

Method

1 Cook rice according to instructions on the packet.

2 In a medium-sized bowl, combine the tuna, soy sauce, sesame oil, crushed red pepper flakes, spring onions and sesame seeds.

3 Serve immediately, or keep in the fridge covered for up to two hours before serving.

4 Add cooked rice, salad, poke and if desired toppings, such as avocado, shredded carrots, sliced cucumber, pickled ginger, wasabi, dried seaweed or seaweed salad.
