Simple to prepare, healthy to eat and decadent to taste, this Southern Bluefin Tuna Steak is fresh and fragrant.
Ingredients
1 In a bowl, combine cucumbers, olives and coriander. Add lemon juice and 1/4 cup oil; season with salt and pepper. Set aside.
2 Season Southern Bluefin Tuna steaks with salt and pepper. Heat a large, heavy cast iron frying pan over high heat. Add 2 tablespoons of cooking oil.
3 When the oil begins to shimmer, add three of the tuna steaks and sear for one minute; turn and cook for 30 seconds more.
4 Add 2 tablespoons butter, swirl to melt and cook 10 seconds more.
5 Transfer fish to a serving platter, covering loosely with foil to keep warm.
6 Wipe out the frying pan and repeat with the remaining steaks.
7 Serve tuna topped with relish, with lemon wedges and more relish alongside.
