How is our bluefin tuna packed and delivered?

We freeze all our Southern Bluefin Tuna within hours of harvest using our very own super freezing technology. We store all tuna in our vacuum-sealed cryovac bags and pack it in styrofoam eskis at -60C temperatures – so you get the freshest seafood… all year round!

Ready to put straight in the freezer or thaw if you’re ready to use, when you order our fresh bluefin tuna you can rest assured it is free of all preservatives and additives. It looks, tastes and feels like we caught it fresh today!

Whether you buy our sashimi-grade bluefin tuna during the harvest period from April to July or at any other time of the year, you will always get the same consistent quality.

Southern Bluefin Tuna

Succulent and rich in flavour, all Dinko Southern Bluefin Tuna (also known as SBT) products are sashimi-grade and available for purchase as steak, portions, loin or whole fish. Rich in flavour and luxurious in texture, Southern Bluefin Tuna is highly prized for its superior culinary quality. Western King Prawns

We’ve been fishing for Western King Prawns for more than fifty years, harvesting during the months of November and December, and from March to June each year.

We sell our MSC certified, European Union accredited prawns throughout Australia and export overseas, and thanks to our frozen onboard technology you can purchase our product all year round.

Australian Sardines

The Spencer Gulf is our home and it is from here that we travel to the best nutrient-rich waters for catching our seafood products, including Australian Sardines.

Dinko’s Australian Sardines are an average length of 145-160mm, MSC accredited and available as fresh, whole sardines during the harvest season, or sardine IQF (individually quick frozen) available all year.
